Who We Are
More than a career, it’s a movement. Emancipet is the leading non-profit veterinary care provider in the United States, on a mission to make veterinary care affordable and accessible for everyone. In 2024, we will celebrate our 25th year delivering veterinary care to pets whose families cannot afford or access market sector care, and we are looking forward to a huge milestone: welcoming our 2 millionth patient visit.

Who We Need
We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to train as veterinary technicians for our healthy pet services and spay/neuter surgery teams - and no previous animal experience is required! We will train you to provide excellent medical care, and amazing service to our community. Experienced technicians are encouraged to apply as well. • You can handle the physical requirements of the role, which include ability to walk and ascend/descend stairs and ramps, remain standing for hours, bend/stoop, squat/crouch, climb, kneel and twist, adjust or move equipment and animals weighing up to 50 lbs, verbally communicate with others, and type and engage in other repeated hand motions that include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

• Starting rate of pay: $17.36/hour
